Getting to the root of our problem.
We have been trying to trace Jans family history beyond her mother. You may think that strange but the fact is that her mother was very economical with any information about her past and since her death a few years ago, we have had next to nothing to go on, not even a date or place of birth. There are no living relatives that we are aware of that can help us with this information. Here are a couple of pictures of Jans mother, her name was Eileen Veronica Holland. We believe her maiden name to be Kelly. We were led to believe that she was born in London but the only records we can find around the approximate year of birth (around March 1922) suggest that she may have been born in Birkenhead. Howdy to the news about us section. I know that this is not the best site you've seen on the 'net but I am a beginner at this and would appreciate any constructive criticism. A question has already been posed as to why the name hairymonster? Could be something to do with the amount of bodily hair. Uuuggghhhh!
