This is the last known photo of Eileen taken in July 1994 at the wedding of her grand-daughter, Nicola. She had suffered for many years and eventually died in December 1995 of lung cancer. Not a very nice way to go I can assure you, although she did not appear to be in much pain. Both Jan and myself were there at the end, spending all our spare time to be with her. I dont mean it to sound begruding when I say that. She was such a character and you always knew where you stood.
